The Pigeonnier is an old tower on which an extension has been added. It accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ground floor is the sitting room furnished with a sofa and armchair, tv, dvd player. The kitchen is open plan and furnished with all the modern necessities. A wooden stair case leads to the main bedroom, double bed 160x200 cm.

In the tower itself on the upper floor, not connected to the main bedroom, is the mezzanine room which would be suitable for children, built on two levels.

On the ground floor is the shower room and a separate toilet.

The Pigeonnier is situated at the edge of the main property, away from the farmhouse and the other gites. It lies beside the tennis court, which could be used on agreement. The view is on the orchard around the front of the cottage, walnut tree, apples, pears, prunes, could be picked in season.

 

 

Le Pigeonnier is available for vacation rental throughout the spring, summer and into autumn in multiples of week long lets, or over the winter for a long term let on more flexible terms.

Prices for long term let from October to April is from 550 euro per month. Water is charge at 20 euro per month and electricity is charged from the meter readings.

Situated in the north Dordogne (Perigord Vert) and on the Charente and Limousin borders is Le Ruisseau a recently converted stone barn. This is an ideal location for a holiday or house hunting. Piegut-Pluviers, a town with all amenities is only 5km away and we are only 50 minutes drive from Limoges airport (serviced by budget airlines, Ryanair and Flybe). And 45mins from Angouleme and TGV station.

 

Le Ruisseau is a fully furnished three bed roomed property with bathroom, spacious wet room shower, two toilets.

 

 

 

Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third bedroom has two singles. Each bedroom has wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, chair and mirror. Bed linen, towels etc can be provided if necessary.

 

 

 

 

 

There is a well equipped modern fitted kitchen with microwave and electric cooker and large wooden dining table seating six.

 

There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, washing lines outside and another undercover.

 

 

 

Sunny living room with woodburner, sofas and armchairs with glazed wall where the barn entrance used to be. Here there is a satellite socket and television which receives French channels, however should English television be required the tenants should provide their own digi box and the dish will be retuned to your requirements.

 

The property features beamed ceilings and restored stonewalls. Heating is electric with a woodburner.

 

With beautiful views of the surrounding countryside there is a paved terrace with bbq and garden furniture and a 6m x 12m swimming pool. Le Ruisseau is by a large lake (27ha) which is a nature reserve and surrounded on the other 3 sides by our private park land.

 

There is no telephone but mobile phones work well, signal is strong and internet connection can be provided via the owners wifi connection free of charge.

 

We have storage available within the property i.e. barns.

 

The owners live on the site so can help with arrangements, sort out problems, make phone calls etc if required.

 

Languages spoken English, French and Finnish.

 

Pets are considered, the owners have a dog, cat and a horse so pets must get on with those.
